From the 12 oz can in a SNIFTER. This decent session
style stout pours a nice looking obsidian with some cola
highlights and a very nice head of off white foam that subsides
to a thick ring, thin subtle pool, and displays some decent lacing.
Nose of subtle coffee, moderate dark cocoa, and herbal hops.
Flavors follow the nose with dark cocoa and moderate dark
coffee notes with a pine and herbal hop finish. Decent mouth
feel---but very effervescent and light for the style, medium
full body, medium carbonation, and a lightly dry bitter cocoa
malt finish.
Overall, a decent stout but needs some refinement which is
a hard thing to say for a brewery I am becoming very fond of.
Cheers

Look - For a normal light abv stout, great looking dark dark brown almost black with a good foamy tan head
Smell - really nice roasty toasty chocolate
Taste - light taste, slight chocolate and roasty but pretty light
Feel - medium/light body with a slight crisp carbonation
