Outstanding beer for being less than 5 abv. If it's really a lager thats another high mark. Rich and full bodied but still drinks easy. Great session beer for the dark months of the year.

From the 12 oz can in a snifter. This solid schwarz pours
a muddled brown with a decent head of off white foam that settles to
a thin ring. Nose of cocoa, coffee, and char. Flavors nail the nose but exceed
for the style with dark cocoa, dark coffee touches, brulee, dark roasted malts,
and a hint of herbal hops. Nice mouth feel; medium body, smooth, coating, light
carbonation, and a balanced bitter malt and subtle hop finish.
Overall----Dig just about everything from these folk, and they keep improving!
Cheers
