Brewed with just one malt and two hop varieties, our German Pilsner is proof that sometimes simple is best. A bright, straw-yellow color with a big white head, the delicately floral and spicy aroma of Hallertau Mittelfrueh hops combines with a light, crackery malt flavor to make an incredibly crisp, quaffable brew. Prost!

I'm trying this off the tapper at the brewery as part of a four sample flight. It poured a clear pale golden with thin white ring head that is leaving some nice lace. The scent had good solid grain notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with grain presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

A - Medium gold pour with perfect clarity, light carbonation, and light white density in the lacing ring.
S - Crisp, crackery malt with herbally hops and a slight bit of cereal grain presence.
T - Crackery malt base with earthy citrus and lingering erthy resin.
M - Medium body with gentle carbonation on the tongue
O - wow...and Wow! This Pilsner is sitting at one of my favorites for the American brewed version.

12 ounce can, dating is smudged on it but I know I've had it a little while. Thanks to Brutaltruth for this one! Served in a pint glass, the beer pours a somewhat clear gold color with about an inch or so white head. Head retention and lacing are both decent. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like floral/herbal hops, bready/biscuity malt and a bit of apple. Taste is similar to the aroma, but I think the floral hop and bready malt flavors stand out to me. Mouthfeel/body is light, it's smooth and easy to drink with a good amount of carbonation. This is a good overall pilsner, I'd like to try it fresher in the future. Certainly worth picking up!

Golden clear, very smooth an crisp. This one really hits the sport. A solid brew, nothing fancy, just right. I hope there will be more where that comes from. We need good regular beer in all this crazy "raspberry double oaked whatnot " kinda beer world.
