Milk Stout uses lactose, which is unfermentable by brewer’s yeast, to elevate the sweetness of the beer. Our version is jet black with a tan head. Aromas of chocolate, coffee, and a light roast note lead into a full malt body, helped by a dash of oats also used in the brew. The sweetness from the lactose helps soften the roastiness, which comes through mostly on the finish.

From the 12 oz can in a snifter. This SOLID milk stout pours a
dark blackish brown with a very nice head of tan foam that
settles to a thick ring, thin clumping layer, and shows excellent
lacing. Nose of dark cocoa, coffee, char, and cream. Flavors
hit all the marks for a near perfect milk stout. Dark cocoa,
coffee, char, cream, brulee, deep roasted malts, dark brown
sugar, and dark fruit touches. Excellent mouth feel; medium full
body, medium light carbonation, and a rich, full, bitter malt finish.

Overall, a SOLID brew from a SOLID brewery!

Cheers

Single 12oz can from Party Town
Pours a black color with a foamy, finger thick, brown head. Good retention.
Aroma has roasty malts with a hint of vanilla.
Taste is roasty dark chocolate and a slight bitterness in the finish.
Full body with a creamy mouthfeel, solid carbonation.
Overall, I enjoyed it!
