Cloudy yellow, with a fluffy white head, our German-style Gose uses sea salt and coriander to make a truly unique beer. This base beer lends aromas of bread dough, lemon, and a hint of lactic acid, while the addition of key lime gives it huge notes of fresh-squeezed lime citrus, and enhances the clean, firm sourness of the beer. It finishes with a perfectly balanced hit of salinity to prime you for the next drink.

Another first for me? Courtesy of another Jungle Jim's special ($2.99 for craft beer? C'mon!). Tall can poured into a pilsner glass.

The look is average, about what you expect from the style. It's straw/pineapple yellow with a puffy, white foam head that fades quickly, leaving no real lacing. It has a punch of lime on the nose. Little carbonation but big lime flavor, sour just the way I like it. Quite salty, with coriander, to finish. Mid-body but a light sipper. This is your "goodbye summer" beer.
