Strong and intense with a subtle date or fig-type fruitiness that goes perfectly with a big, layered malty body. Slight alcohol warmth throughout, with classic American hops adding firm bitterness and a bit of dryness to the finish to help balance the malt.

A - Dark gold colored pour with some amber tint. Carbonation is steady and moderate and there's a nice one finger thick layer of off-white, creamy, rocky foam resting on top.
S - Toasted sweet caramel malt with some figs, a slight bit of fruitiness, and some alcohol.
T - Sweet toasted caramel base is present but not a focus. Figs, some light fruitiness, and a balanced pine bitterness on the backside rolls over top of the malt backbone.
M - Thick, silky, viscous, some warming on the way down, and leaves a light sugary residue on the lips.
O - Not a stand out but it is solid.
