Celebrating 250 years of military service, this Chocolate Porter has rich aromas and flavors of chocolate paired with roast notes and some restrained hop bitterness to keep it balanced. A portion of the proceeds from this beer will be donated to Toys for Tots.

From the 12 oz can in a snifter. This solid straight up porter pours a dark blackish brown
with a very nice head of tan foam that subsides to a thick ring and layer with excellent
lacing. Nose of dark roasted malts, dark chocolate, dark coffee, and subtle herbal
hops. Flavors hit the mark with a great presentation of dark chocolate malts, dark
coffee, dark bread, crust, moderate char, and balanced herbal hops. Mouth feel
is medium full, medium carbonation, smooth, moderately coating, and finishing
with a nice bitter malt roasted note.
Overall, a stellar straight up porter done right!
Have not found a bad brew from these folks....quickly becoming the best brewery in
the Cincinnati area and top 10 in Ohio.
Cheers
