This double dry-hopped beer is a true to style northeastern IPA, with a hazy appearance, juicy flavor and rich tropical hop aroma. We used to much of the Mosaic hops that the neighbors complained about the smell.

Poured from a 12 OZ can into a pint glass. The appearance is a cloudy pale yellow with a small white head. The aroma is citrus and wine. The taste is fruit and some spice . the 8% ABV is well hidden.

One of my favorites ever, definitely the best they brew IMO.

Very thin for a DIPA. Was expecting much more body and less malt forward feel. Aroma is great but does not follow up in taste.

12oz can from Sprayberry Bottle Shop (Marietta, GA). 12.99/ 6 pack. No canning date but this is a very recent release. Served in an oversized Bruery snifter. Enjoyed 3/6/18.

Pours a dull, hazy pale yellow with a little more than a finger of white froth. Pillows of foam dot the surface. Despite the persistence of a foamy crown no lacing finds purchase on the glass.

Smells of chopped berry seeds, white wine, orange peel and some floral greens.

Tastes of mandarins, white grapes, strawberry greens, slight rye spice and unripe melon. The relatively low alcohol presence in the flavor contributes to this being dangerously easy to drink.

Medium body with pillowy carbonation. The aftertaste is like melon, citrus berry wine- if there was such a thing.

My first brew from Wild Leap. Upright is a really nice double IPA. I’ll be keeping an eye on these guys as they are just starting to hit the market.
