12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 2/20/2019. Disclaimer: This sat in my hot car for a week or two unknowingly. Pours opaquely hazy deep golden/orange/green/amber color with a 1 finger dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, mango, honeydew melon, citrus peel/zest, light peppercorn/pine, wheat, biscuit dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Muted aromas, but not too malty/muddy. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/fruity hops and bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, mango, honeydew melon, citrus peel/zest, light peppercorn/pine, wheat, biscuit dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Very mild pine, citrus peel/zest, herbal, floral, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, mango, honeydew melon, citrus peel/zest, light peppercorn/pine, wheat, biscuit dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity hops and bready malt flavors; with a solid malt/bitterness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/bready, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is fantastic. Minimal warming alcohol for 8.1%. Overall this is an excellent NEIPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mildly bitter/drying finish; fantastic soft feel. Awesome Cascade profile. Extremely juicy and lightly dank/earthy hops; with a nice sized wheat/oat/malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering dryness. A really enjoyable offering, and impressive style example. The hot car temps killed the aromas, but the taste was awesome.

Had a can from Johnnys Pizza lower Roswell - for ga beer drinkers this tastes like a Tropicalia mixed with a Basement. East Coast meets West Coast in one glass. Super easy to drink. Lots of melon, citrus and a pre-boozy sweetness. Definitely worth trying

Thanks to Matt for this one.
Cloudy light orange body. Minimal head leaves a ring around the glass.
Pineapple and grapefruit aroma. Slight bitter rind.
Taste follows the nose. Juicy with pineapple, grapefruit and a slight sweetness of unripe mango.
Light body with a slick mouth feel. Low carbonation.

Hazy. Juicy. Hoppy. Tangy. Slightly bitter on the back end. Notes of pineapple and orange. Mouth watering. Medium bodied. Really tasty. Gifted from @brewsoverhoes, glad he sent it.

12 ounce can, no date but assumed fresh.
Pours an orangey gold, with an orange tinted head of just under a finger. Hazy body. Whispy fingers of lacing on the entire glass as I drank it.
Nose of sweet oj, orange and lemon zest.
Fairly easy tastes. Bitter orange juice, green, grapefruit, tangerine, citrus pith, pine forest. An old school hop, old school flavors.
Medium body, lower carbonation.
On old school hop in a new school style works. Tasty beer.

Poured from a 12 oz can into snifter.
Hazy yellow in appearance, minimal head that dissipates quickly.
Aromas of grapefruit, lemon, and some grassy/pine on the end.
Tastes of grapefruit, lemon, pine, and the floral notes slide in. Malt presence is subdued but holds up well to the hoppiness. Nice bitterness hop bite with some earthy flavors on the finish.
Drinks way too easy for an 8 percent. Medium bodied, smooth finish, carbonation is on the lower end I’d say.
Wild Leap continues to produce some of the best IPAs in the state of GA. Don’t pass up a chance to try these guys.

12oz can from Sprayberry Bottle Shop (Marietta, GA). 12.99/ 4 pack. Canned 2/20/19. Served in a Wild Leap teku. Enjoyed 2/26/19.
Pours a hazy, flat yellow with a dense white foamy head. The froth shrinks to a few wisps across the surface, a thin perimeter and some modest trails of lacing.
Smells of lemon zest, pine, slightly grassy and a little caramel.
Flavors are an interesting mix of juicy, bitter and slightly bready. Lemon peel, pine, grapefruit, vague spice, desweetened caramel, toast and some flower petals. The alcohol is well concealed, making this dangerously easy to drink.
The body is on the lighter side of medium with some pillowy carbonation. Aftertaste is long and bitter with notes of grapefruit, slight pine and hop bread.
More quality hop work from Wild Leap. OG: Cascade couples classic West Coast hops with hazy, juicy East Coast style. This will be a fun series to follow.
