12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 8/18/2019. Pours very hazy deep golden amber/light orange color with a 1 finger dense and rocky off white head with awesome retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice dense foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big ruby grapefruit, tangerine, orange juice, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, mango, honeydew melon, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of big ruby grapefruit, tangerine, orange juice, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, mango, honeydew melon, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Mild pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of ruby grapefruit, tangerine, orange juice, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, mango, honeydew melon, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance; and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/bready, fairly sticky, and lightly resinous/rindy mouthfeel that is fantastic. Mild increasing warmth of 8.1% after the finish. Overall this is an outstadning NEDIPA. All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink for the ABV, with the mildly bitter/resinous/drying finish. Fantastic soft/silky feel. Fantastic Centennial showcase. Very juicy, and fairly dank/earthy hops; with a good sized wheat/oat/malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and outstanding spot on style example.

The looks are fantastic, the smell still subdued, the taste seems fresher, juicier, and the mouthfeel fuller and sweeter.
A marked improvement from my first go around.
----------------------------
Dirty golden yellow body; frothy, sudsy head; clinging sheets of foam inside the glass. Muddled smell combination of dull cereal grains and old citrus pith; caramel. The taste blends elements of citrus rind, powder sugar, caramel, alcohol, and some vinous hop bitterness. Medium body; residual sugar presence but some ethanol burn on the palate; a bit sweet with a tart juiciness but also a noticeable boozy dryness.
Well, it has a dirty haziness and some old citrus smell and taste elements, but the entirety just falls into a muddled blop of a beer. Overly sweet, not enough fresh juiciness or memorable hop character.

L: Opaque tropical fruit juice, an interesting orange/peach/pinkish hue, with a two finger frothy sticky head with great retention but little lacing. Even the head has a slight pink hue to it.
S: Smells of nectarine and orange with loads of confectioners sugar and a hint of booze.
T: Follows the nose with notes of earth/grass. Has a slightly drier and bitter finish, but overall its sweet - near cloyingly sweet as it takes on a few degrees of warmth.
F: Thick carbonated sugary syrup. Fine if you like your beer filling.
O: This juice hides it's alcohol well, but due to it's cloying sweetness, I would have preferred a lighter version.

Appearance - Pours nearly opaque dark orange with a great soapy white head excellent retention. Lots of spotty lacing.
Aroma - Excellent combination of citrus, floral hops, grapefruit, nice sweet nose with a balanced dankness.
Taste - Taste perfectly matches the nose, I am getting a little more overly ripe peach and mango in the taste. The nose made me think this would be a little more bitter. Tons of ripe fruit and earthy hops.
Feel - Medium bodied nice soft feel well carbonated with a nice dry finish.
Overall - Really well done the alcohol is no where to be found, love the taste.

Bought this when I couldn't find any Alpha Abstraction - just as good, and very similar. It's on my list of "go to" beers from Wild Leap.
