Color slightly hazy orange
Nose is tropical and hoppy
Taste is not as good as 15, but still one of the best. Great carbonation makes it a summer day beer
Overall a excellent choice

Not the style of ipa I prefer, but I was fooled by the description on the can. Brewed fresh on 7/13/2013. Appearance, was a light straw color and murky. Smell, was citrus and stone fruit, Taste was pretty much the same as the smell, maybe more fruit forward. Mouth feel was med to full body, overall the beer was well...just ok and really not my style. It finishes to sweet for me and too sweet.

I loved this beer. It definitely stands with best hazies I’ve ever had. Smell is tropical fruits and juice, citrus taking center stage. Taste follows suit with a tropical fruit assault of which its hard to describe the individual flavors. Hop bitterness is very low here and the feel of this beer is so creamy and pillowy, it definitely ticks all the boxes for me.

12 oz can poured into a pint, canned 7/7/21 enjoyed 7/14/21. This version double dry hopped with “citiva hops.”

Pours a hazy murky orange, finger with of head, lingering nicely.

Smells of stone fruit, citrus, and tropical fruits.

Taste follows, with similar flavors a lot of ripe peach and nectarine, citrus, mango, lime and seems less sweet than usual for the series which is nice.

Feel is velvet smooth and crisp. Insanely drinkable for 8%. I wouldn’t have realized had I not had prior knowledge of the series.

Overall, another solid entry to the series. 17 total in over the last few years and I’ll keep grabbing Alpha as long as they brew it.
