What I love about craft brew is that you get to experience those special moments when you come across, well, something special - and this beer is something special...
It pours like oil out of the can an into the glass, very impressive, even though it has no head to speak of. The smell is at first a blast of booze-forwardness, but as it settles in the glass, you can note the salted caramel and chocolate scents quite well. Mouthfeel is what I had expected, full-bodied, thick, and creamy - a nice experience to say the least. Taste was booze-forward as well, but with distinctive notes of roasted malts, chocolate, and even raisins (if you can believe it.) Anyway, a super special surprise for me on a lazy Sunday afternoon...
