Metropolitan Porter is filled with chocolate flavour, finishing with a smooth coffee-like roast. Dark in colour, with a medium body. Using traditional English malts, we wanted to showcase a balance between malty-sweet and roasted bitterness. Notes of toffee, caramel, chocolate and coffee.

At my lady Pamela's house; canned and chilled, 473mL in a pint glass. From The Roundhouse Centre LCBO on Howard Ave. in nearby Windsor. No date stamp or lot number. My 2nd beer from the Newmarket, Ontario brewery, and for 2025. Admired by Sundae the cat...

A rather average porter. Has a wee dose of everything you'd expect of the style, but not one aspect really stands out. Most of coffee, chocolate, and caramel if anything. Thin bodied, barely dry finish. Drinkable.
