With this beer series, we decided to narrow our vision and focus on one thing at a time. The Single Minded series of pale ales feature a new single hop variety for every batch. This hop builds upon a simple grist of British Pearl and Canadian Copeland barleys for a light, cracker-like malt balance. Chinook brings subtle aromas of pine with piney flavour and notes of grapefruit and spice.

Thoroughly cloudy apricot in colour with a firm, moderately sized head. Settles to a splotchy cap, good lace. Lots of sediment out of the bottom of the can. Just about noseless. Watery mouthfeel. Dry in character generally, a little sweet malt, subdued hop bitterness to finish. Pretty understated. Hints at something good, but doesn't quite rise to the occasion.

Chinook was part four of my tasting sampler. Pours light gold with minimal nose here. Taste is quite smooth just not too complex. Did help clean palette however ;)
