Market Brewery new bear releated beer....Roar....is it tamed? is it scray? Let us find out.
Pours bright and cheery gold, easily seen through if you pour slow so go for full pour for slight cloud - with wonderful collar. An excellent effervescence awaits. Light grasses and subtle fruits are first smells here with malty finish and wood. I do prefer Market’s other IPA noses however. Taste is quite light, fresh. Hints of caramel here with malty finish. Again, Kodiak still ranks above this one however is a different style as a NE IPA but not quite what one would find in the U.S Quite drinkable however. Could see this on a summer patio and at 6.5 won’t overwhelm. They could afford a bit more roar actually. A fine addition to an already stacked lineup, yet again MB doesn’t disappoint.
