Ah summer. The who gives a fart time of the year. And what do those crazy bears are market do? Well...what they always do...come up with a memorable title for their summer brew. So come on people channel your Rupert Holmes, crack open yer coconut and let’s see what is inside this one.
Sampled at the brewery and had to grab a few take outs. This one is even better in can. Pours pineapple gold with incredible collar and effervescence.
Nose is as advertised- coconut from the outset slightly burnt. Grab your Lactaid as this one has a milky overtone with pineapple accompaniment. Quite complex and really enjoyable.
Initial mouthful is orange but then the coconut really shines through. Hey it is sweet as expected so candy lovers will enjoy this one. Quite a blended mouthful here where the pineapple offers an excellent rounding. Quite a smooth taste with decent lingering finish of burnt coconut. Note this one gets more enhanced as it warms so really ideal for a summer patio indulgence.
This one won’t be for everyone as it is just a riot and goofy but this is my favourite from this brewery so far. This brewery continues to add wonderful additions to their lineup.
