A wilderness outpost vibe for this small, remote brewery towards the end of a country road that ends at a,trailhead on the backside of Hunter Mt.
We were looking forward to the Ecuadorian food truck, but that was Saturday only. Sunday's only option was a lobster roll/oyster stand. It was very good, though pricey, and those 2 options didn't work for everyone in our party.
Beer selection offered a variety-4 lagers, 2 ipas, 1 pale, a stout, a sour, and something with basil.
Bartender was cordial, not overly friendly, and, overall, place didn't have an especially welcoming vibe for the newcomers. Nothing negative or hostile, just kinda indifferent.
Grabbed a 4pk of a pale ale that wasn't on tap. Sadly, the cans, were dated early June; was hoping for fresher from the source, but they likely don't can on premises?
Lastly, while it's located in a valley, the brewery is perched atop a little knoll. You drive up a gravel drive into a gravel parking lot. There's a grand view of the mountain out in front, but other 3 sides are in the trees, so Mt views are hidden. There is one small, shaded lawn at the bottom of parking lot.
Would def return when in the area, but wouldn't make a special trip just for brewery.

A fair ways off the beaten track brewery/tap room has a hunting lodge sort of vibe. Service bar to the right of the entrance with a few tables inside, and a variety of seating options outside. 8 beers on tap. Friendly bartender.

By far the best views in the Catskills. Incredible brewery with indescribable views of the mountains and valley. Well off the beaten path but it makes it that much better to stumble upon this gem. I’ve been to breweries in the Pacific Northwest, south, northeast, cities and small towns alike. Honestly, this is one of the most beautiful and unique places you’ll visit. come here. Period.

Great spot about 5 miles down a dead end road, be sure to look for Teddy the cat. They have a nice varied selection, the Kaaterskill IPA was solid. Cool vibe with a good food selection.

Way out on a dead end road in the middle of the Catskill high peaks you will find this gem. They brew some really great beer with a focus on local sourcing. Staff is great. Very laid back. Only open Friday Saturday Sunday so always busy.

This is my kind of place. In the Catskill mountains on a back road on a farm. The beer is very good, but more importantly there is great variety. I think there were 7 taps and each tap was a different variety. The people there are very friendly. The option of growler, crowler, or cans is great for take home. There were a few games there to play with my kids. There is a "wildlife and outdoors" are important feeling there. The person behind the bar has not filled my growler to the top twice, so be mindful.
