The worlds most intriguing and drinkable red ale enhanced by the barrel shows chocolate, coconut, and vanilla along with the red berries and dried fruit flavors of the Red Jam!
As before there is no fruit, puree, syrups, or extracts added. The dried fruit and berry flavors come from the unique combination of grains, hops, and honey bush! Of course the barrel adds the chocolate, coconut, and vanilla.
Cheers!

Pours just like Red Jam no real difference more brownish then amber.
Nose on this one is better though caramel malts aided by strawberry jam defiantly more jam like then the original. But you have that extra notes of oak and very light vanilla added to me makes it much more pleasant.
Taste is also increased some what but not quite as much as the aroma. Good malty brew with fruity notes again the wood kind of subdues the strawberries to make then more like well Jam or preserves. Little dry in the finish from the barrel again, hints of coco powder and vanilla. Almost but not quite a 4.
Mouthfeel is solid medium with level carbonation, little bit less peppy then the original which is a good thing.
Overall a better more interesting beer more favorable and enjoyable.

Really nice stuff: little bit sweet but very balanced, unique flavor blend, pleasant and interesting from scent to finish. The fruity tartness and slightly sour scent is offset by mature barrel smoke and attendant caramel with a little hop adding complexity. My first Garrs - I'm impressed!

On tap in Chattanooga.
Clear, dark copper body with limited clarity and a creamy bone colored head.
Near even bitter sweet balance b it ends mildly bitter.
Lingering aftertaste of roasted grains, nuts, whisky and toffee.
