Look: It pours dark gold with quite a bit of haze. It has an off white head that has good head retention.
Smell: The aroma has moderate spiciness with moderate fruit that is orange like. There is a slight bit of grainy sweetness.
Taste: The flavors are fruity and spicy with the spice taking on a pepper like character and the fruits with an orange character. The orange is quite pronounced in the finish. There are low levels of clove in the background.
Feel: It has a medium full body with a dry finish.
Overall, the balance in the front was towards the spice and at the back end it favored the fruity esters.

I like belgians for a change of pace, but this was the best belgian I have tasted. Not too much witbier taste and a good balance of maltiness. Slight floral notes without being too overpowering.
