Love the strawberry jam flavor. All other characteristics of the beer are fine with me. Overall, one of my fav’s.

Poured from a can into a 16 oz draft glass and you definitely catch the hint of strawberry on the nose and reddish amber color. The taste is a little bit malty, slight strawberry, and dry on the finish as described. An odd red ale indeed but wanted to try something a bit different and met that expectation.

Pours a deep murky reddish brown more so then amber. Sports a big fluffy two and a half finger tan head that falls oh so slow and leaves gobs of lace, a descent looking beer.

Aroma is different get the malt amber base spiked with some light strawberry notes, hints of plums and a little astringent notes.

Taste is like the nose amber ale bready malt base lightly sweet infused with strawberry notes. Some other darker fruit hints not sure why I am leaning to plums i guess because I can't quite place it. Finish is lingering herbal lightly earthy hops to balance the sweetness out other wise believe it would come of cloying.

Mouthfeel is medium carbonation level seems a little to peppy for this beer.

Overall eh not bad not sure I would go to this for a normal amber ale, but if you like some light strawberry flavors it might be right up your alley. Might also be the only strawberry beer I have had that isn't a sour. But it is what it claims to be.
