Humorously, this was described to me by a waitress as a “triple IPA,” which it clearly is not. But it’s also unlike any Belgian tripel I’ve ever had. But simply as a beer experience, it’s fantastic. Not a real pretty beer (cloudy cider body), but a solid off-white head and soapy lacing. Absolutely wonderful combination of bready sweetness, citrus hoppiness, dank resin, a strong yeastiness (keeping true to the tripel categorization), and a nice pithy bitterness, all in both the nose and tongue. Feel is wonderfully silky and well carbonated. Really, really loving this beer (especially with sushi), but have no earthly idea how to grade it as a tripel.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
