Pours a black color. 1/3 inch head of an off-tan color. Decent retention and good lacing. Smells of sweet malt, roasted malt, hint of chocolate, piney hops, and a hint of rye. Fits the style of an American Stout. Mouth feel is silky smooth and clean, with an average carbonation level. There is an elevated dryness. Tastes of sweet malt, roasted malt, hint of chocolate, piney hops, slight oatmeal, and a hint of rye. Overall, good feel, blend, and body.
