Copenhagen 15/6 2020. 33 cl can from Kvickly, Allerød. Drawing of twirling lemon peel in a shade of yellow on the can. Does not get more citric than that.
Pours murky, yellow with a huge white head. Fairly stable. Settles as impressive 5 cm thick crown of fluffy foam on top of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is a bit dampened by the massive amount of foam. Medium intense with a strong tart, citric sourness and a more subtle sweet odor of forest berries. Herbal touch. Lemon, citrus, tart gooseberries. Sweet strawberries and white sugar lurking underneath. There might be of hint of licorice. Hard to say.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with light sweetness followed by a strong sourness. Aftertaste is citric and sour with a very light sweet undercurrent. Finish is sour and dry.
Fresh and sour - and a little bit one-dimensional.
