473ml can poured into tulip.

Pours a clear copper with two fingers of beige head that leaves a decent sheet of lace as it recedes.

Smells of crusty bread, some juicy mixed citrus, caramel pudding, soft soil and some bright leafy green hops.

Tastes of crusty bread dipped in honey, orange peel, more gooey pudding and more verdant hoppy bitterness.

Feels deceptively light and lively. Medium bodied with frothy carbonation. Finishes off-dry.

Verdict: Recommended. A pretty good chilly weather warmer, just in time for winter to come along and ruin everything.

Appearance - Pours a light amber with three fingers of frothy white head.

Smell - earthy, leafy, citrus, and floral hops, grainy and bready malts, sweet aromas, and earthy yeast.

Taste - earthy, leafy, citrus, and floral hops upfront. The grainy and malts come through alongside the sweet characteristics. The earthy yeast rounds out the brew.

Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes crisp and refreshing with the malts and hops lingering.

Overall - A highly sessionable maibock that delivers on the hop and malt front. I could easily see this as a warm weather crusher.
