Screaming Meemies has a pronounced Imperial West Coast bitterness balanced with a subtle malt sweetness. Just like many IPAs you loved in 2012, it is clear with a dark amber colour and considerable pine and citrus notes. This Big IPA screams in at 85 IBUs.

Just short of clear amber orange pour with a finger of short lived tawny coloured head.
Nose initially struck me as tropical with a whack of mango, pineapple, ripe orange, hints of grapefruit - floral and interestingly notes of vanilla, giving aroma of a creamsicle.
Palate starts sweet with a little bit of the tropical fruit from the nose - orange, mango - but then hits with a burst of resin and piney bitterness - caramel malt sweetness is a bit player in the end.
Medium full mouthfeel with decent carbonation and a sticky lingering bitterness.
