L: Had this beer on-tap at Capital Ale House - Midlothian, poured into a pint glass. Had a dark brown color and a thick, opaque consistent. There was a quarter inch of foamy, off white, fairly long-lasting head. Pretty good lacing.
S: A decent, but not powerful, aroma of malt, caramel, and hops.
T: Tasted of a small shot of hops (mostly in the finish), a light nutty quality (not quite enough), a little tinge of caramel, and a moderate amount of malt. Nothing overly special in the flavor here - it's a little thin - but not bad either. Could have been pushed further than it was.
F: A well-carbonated beer with a smooth finish. Medium-bodied.
O: Kind of an uneven beer, but a solid one. Worth a look if you like brown ales.

Served in tulip glass. Rich dark brown color. Light head that sticks around. Nice malty aroma. Lightly sweet malt flavor typical of a brown ale. Strong coffee flavor apparent. Medium body with some slight bitterness to the aftertaste.
