Old fashion saloon like brewery taproom in antiquated brick building downtown. Lots of exposed brick, heavy woodwork, an tin ceilings. Long straight bar perpendicular to the entrance on the left seats about 18 with some tables about the room and on the sidewalk. Brewhouse is passed the bar in the back. A dozen beers on tap. Friendly bartender.

An old brick building, downtown. Open, high, carved white ceiling. Tiled floor. Young cat playing with cat toy on ledge behind bar. The four beers I had in a tasting flight were quite mediocre.

this place is incredible, way ahead of my minimal expectations for a small town brewery like this. for one, their space is insanely cool, right in the middle of town, obviously an old building, but made cool and well restored. high ceilings, lots of exposed brick, old wood, lots of natural light through big shopfront windows on two sides, a wide open view to the brewery in the back which was quite sizeable, and a neat little gallery as you walk through to their incredible patio. like a brick alleyway back there with booth seating, plenty of shade, an area for a bar and music when they are busy, and sunflowers lining the wall, just a sensational place to drink a beer on a sunny afternoon. atmosphere was unbeatable, so the brews didnt have to be amazing, but the thing is, they were darn close to it. i loved their maple oktoberfest, we dug their guava lime gose, and saw a hazy ipa with a lot of potential, but there were a lot of cool and ambitious brews on the list, as well as some more familiar styles, something for just about every palate i would think. the quality was great, and i wished we had more time to sit back there and drink. the service was welcoming and kind, and there was just a great feel to this place when we were there. i loved it, and if i lived anywhere near here, id be in all the time. not to be missed when you are in this part of the state, one of my favorite breweries from our recent road trip!
