This is a true pastry stout - notes of chocolate and coffee but not too sweet - the vanilla is present but not overwhelming - 12% so be careful! Beautiful color and body - the adjunts are unique!

Pours one shade shy of black with a tight, khaki band around the edges. Nose expresses hints of roast and cocoa. Lots going on in the flavor profile - big hits of cherries and cane sugar intermixed with lactose sweetness followed by chocolate consistent with the description of ice cream sandwich cookies. Mouthfeel is a bit thin for the style and abv. Carbonation is mild and even. Overall, a pretty tasty imperial stout. Not much in the way of coconut and the mouthfeel is a bit thin; however, quite drinkable.
