Collab with Union Coffee Another amazing stout from River Styx Brewing. Notes of Chocolate and cream. Booze is well hidden. Thick dark color like motor oil. Easy drinking for such a high alcohol content.

Served in a taster. Pours one shade shy of black with a tight, khaki-colored band around the shoulders. Nose is amazing! Decadent roasted coffee followed by rich, dark chocolate. Taste consistent with nose but lacking the anticipated richness. There's also some char towards the back and a kiss of something vinous. Mouthfeel is light-medium in body, albeit a little thin for the style with a carbonation just shy of lively. Overall, the nose on this beer is top notch; however, it doesn't quite translate to the flavor profile. Also the mouthfeel could use a little more heft.
