16 oz can acclimated to 50°F and poured into a tulip glass.

Pours a murky peachy salmon color, looks exactly like grapefruit juice, very pretty, this is my favorite general shade of color. Has 2.5 finger white head, dissipating almost immediately and leaving no lacing I was aware of.

While opening/pouring/taking a picture I smelled rhubarb pie. Initial aroma is heavy real raspberry. Tart, like it's going to sting a little. I get a little bit of a funk but can't tell anything specific about it, and there's a smell that I guess is vanilla but wouldn't have identified as such had I not known it was there. After agitating I'm hit with concentrated fruity esters that seem separate from the raspberry smell, plus some heavier funk and some yeast.

Initial taste before swallowing is a moderately puckering tartness. After swallowing I get a huge hut of raspberry taste along with the sour from it, lasting long into the aftertaste, concentrated in the back of the mouth and tongue. In the early portion of tasting I get a little funk, and somewhere in the middle is a taste skin to grapefruit pith, that bitter citrus oil taste. Other than that I'm really not able to find much but what is there is very high quality and very strong.

Mouthfeel is slightly juicy/milky, and at the same time I would say that the frequency and feel of the carbonation is rather like seltzer, which is probably reinforced by the fruit flavor.

Overall this is great, it's made very well. For me, while not overwhelming, there were a few negatives to be found, however. I found it relatively one dimensional, while other taste were present, I had a hard time seeing past the raspberries in this one. Additionally I unfortunately could not locate the vanilla or lactose. These are what kept my overall score at 4 rather than 4.25.

Likely to buy again infrequently in the future, it's a sour that's fruity sour, and I don't love those because they're intense and hurt my teeth, I highly prefer the dairy bacteria strain variety. (This did not affect my scoring) I definitely enjoyed a good deal though so I will drink it again.

Nice sour - raspberry flavor and color are there - plenty of both - the vanilla adds a really nice touch of sweetness and balances out th ebeer - excellent!

Rosè color, fizzy and quickly dissipating head. Smell is raspberry and vanilla, slightly tart scent. Same on the taste. Dry finish, almost like a soda. Overall, pretty good, but not as fruity as I like with a fruited kettle sour.

L: Pink-orange with a fizzy white head that dissipates quickly

S: Fresh raspberry and vanilla. Like a delicious raspberry tart.

T: Tart raspberry is the dominant flavor with noticeable vanilla undertones. This is very well done.

F: Light bodied with lively carbonation. Dry finish.

O: This is really well done. Probably the best beer with vanilla that I’ve ever had.
