Appearance: Pours hazy and ruby colored, with a one finger head that leaves spotty lacing
Smell: Strawberry and dark cherry jam tones intermingle, with the vinous Pinot Noir grapes adding a tart edge
Taste: Dark cherry powers the outset, with the strawberry intermingling; the sour tones build, through the middle, with the barrel and the Pinot Noir emerging; the finish is dry
Mouthfeel: Light to medium body with moderate carbonation; very puckery
Overall: Bursts with fruit but quite sour for those who like that combination
