A: Pours a hazy pale to medium orange-ish pink in color with light to moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and moderate pale ruby red + pale orange + apricot + peach colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense fizzy sudsy foamy white head that reduces to a handful of small to medium sized patches of medium thick film surrounded by a large patch of thin film and a thick ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Slightly heavier than moderate aromas of juicy sweet overripe tropical/pineapple over the top of light to moderate aromas of slightly sour wheat + pale malts with minimal amounts of sweetness and a light amount of lemon citrus lacto tartness. Finally there is a light aroma of earthy beets.
T: Upfront there are light to moderate flavors of slightly sour wheat + pale malts with a minimal amount of sweetness and a light amount of lemon citrus lacto tartness. That is followed by slightly stronger than moderate flavors of juicy sweet overripe tropical/pineapple. Finally there are light flavors of earthy beets. Lightly tart flavors linger through the finish.
M: Light to medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Light to moderate amounts of acidic prickliness and a light amount of dryness in the finish.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and just enough acidic prickliness + dryness in the mouthfeel. Enjoyable and well balanced between the sweetness of the pineapple and the earthiness of the beets.

16oz can from Toby. Hazy golden , small fine, foamy head. Sweet, fruity aroma, pineapple. Taste brings some of the earthy beets flavors, still tropical pineapple flavors. Very dry at the finish.

Neon pastel grapefruit red with no head, this features an earthy beetyness that is totally out of this world. The beets are really expressive and it enhances the light funk present in this sour, sometimes also contributing a peanuttiness. Pineapple accents the background like a gummy bear, lightly tart, with a slightly sticky, dry finish. A crisp carbonation runs thru the medium-light body and additional touches of peach and pear develop.

Appearance: Cloudy and a brilliant pinkish purple, the head is thin and there is very little lacing
Smell: Pineapple, sweet cherry and beet sugar
Taste: Pineapple and sweet cherry forward, with the sugar beet tones adding an earthy character to the middle; the sweeter fruits linger though they are balanced by the tart aspect
Mouthfeel: Medium body with low carbonation; a little thick
Overall: Extraordinary flavor and a welcome return to the Summer Jam series
