Appearance: Pours cloudy and crimson colored, with a massive head that has a slightly pink tint; good retention and a smattering of lace
Smell: Bursting with tart berry tones of raspberry and boysenberry; a vinous, oaky red wine tone envelops
Taste: The sweet raspberry flavor underpins the growing acetic tartness of the mixed berry aspect; through the middle the oaky, vinous red wine element emerges, foreshadowing a dry but fruity finish; very tart aftertaste
Mouthfeel: Light to medium body with moderate carbonation; puckery
Overall: The fruits are nicely balanced here and the barrel treatment works well; a rather acetic punch in the aftertaste
