A: Poured into a Duvel tulip to a bright neon red beer which is topped by a finger of dense and slightly rocky pink colored head which fades quickly to a collar around the edge of the glass without a trace
S: Smells of sour cherries along with some crusty malty notes, a touch of cinnamon and a hint of vanilla
T: Taste is sour cherries up front with some vanilla followed by that crusty malt note, some hints of cinnamon, and a touch of funk. On the swallow there's more sour cherries, slight funk, crusty malt, cinnamon and vanilla.
M: This beer has a body which is solidly at a medium level. The beer is slightly syrupy while carbonation feels to be on the lower end while still being adequate. Due to the acidity this beer does have a drying finish.
O: Overall this is a really tasty beer. Really nice flavors and complexity that does everything that it sets out to do. It drinks pretty easy as well. This is a fun series and I'd like to see this one come back.
