look: 4.5 | smell: 4.5 | taste: 4.5 | feel: 4.5 | overall: 4.5
A: Poured into a Duvel tulip to a cloudy pinkish orange beer which is topped by a dense and slightly rocky two finger off white head which fades slowly to a collar around the edge of the glass with minimal lacing
S: Smells of plums and sourness with some hints of funk.
T: Taste is plums and sourness up front with a hint of cracker malt and light funk with a touch of horseblanket. On the swallow there's more sour plum flavor with more cracker like malt and some funk with some lingering acidity.
M: This beer has a body which is on the lighter side of things but it is not watery. Carbonation is effervescent but not overly so while the beer has a drying finish due to the acidity.
O: Overall this is another well executed fruited sour from the folks at Barrel Culture. The base beer has some nice notes that it brings to the party while the plum flavors are also welcomed.
