A: Poured into a Duvel tulip to a pinkish orange beer which is topped by a small white head that disappears quickly without a trace
S: Smells of plums and cinnamon with a hint of orange peel along with some piney notes from the rosemary
T: Taste is rosemary up front before cinnamon and plums come in. Nice backbone of sourness throughout with some nice orange notes as well. Hints of tropical fruits at times while the rosemary, cinnamon, plums, and orange peel mingle across the palate. On the swallow there's a blast of herbs from the rosemary, more plums, hints of cinnamon and orange peel with some lingering sourness.
M: This beer has a moderate amount of heft with a slightly syrupy feel on the palate. Carbonation is low and is almost not there while the beer has a drying finish due to the acidity.
O: Overall this beer is very complex and has some very interesting flavors. The mix of herbs and fruit seems novel but they blend well together in a nice way.
