A: Poured into a Duvel tulip to a golden yellow beer which is just slightly hazy. The beer is topped by a dense and rocky finger of white head which fades quickly to a collar around the edge of the glass with minimal lacing
S: Smells of clean sourness and hints of funk with a touch of oak
T: Taste is lightly sour but it builds with some mingling funk along with a hint of peppery spice. Nice fruity notes as well with a hint of white wine and a touch of oak. On the swallow there's more sourness, oak, light funk, a touch of creamy wheat with some lingering sourness at the very end.
M: This beer is on the lighter side of things in body but it isn't quite watery. Carbonation is low but effervescent while the beer has a drying finish due to the acidity.
O: Overall this is a really nice beer. it has some good flavors and a nice amount of complexity. It's a very well executed sour without any real frills or flourish.
