A not-bad American take on a Hefeweizen. Poured from a 16 oz can into an Aventinus Weizen glass, this beer features a pale yellow hazy color with a medium size foamy white head with good retention. Aroma and taste include a good bit of yeast, some wheat bitterness and malt. While it is lacking in complexity (very little cloves, cardamom, astringency and the "banana/bubble gum" aspect) it is still pretty tasty. Mouthfeel avoids being bland due to the wheat and yeast and the beer is overall crisp and refreshing. A good summer thirst quencher.
