Young Lion Brewing Company

Visited on a Friday afternoon with my father-in-law. Nice clean modern taproom vibe with a nice lake view. Kind of pricey with 12 oz, 16 oz, or 4x5oz flight serving sizes. Nice variety but only 1 of the 5 beers I had was above-average (the helles). The bartender was super busy but very efficient and professional. The taproom itself is great but the beer is the reason I will be unlikely to return in the future.

Gorgeous location right on the lakeshore with nice views out over the lake. Brand new, clean and spiffy. U shaped bar with small tables around the edges. Great service, friendly staff. Solid selction of taps.

nice modern space - two floors and an outdoor area. it's just across the street from the Lake so nice views on a summer afternoon. the tap list is fairly varied which was nice. the few beers I drank - IPA, Stout, and Flanders Red, were pretty good.

 

 

 

Young Lion has a pretty nice little taproom that overlooks the Canandaigua Lake, there is indoor and outdoor seating. There is a more modern feel to the place which isn't bad, you can just tell it's a relatively new brewery. They had about 12 or 13 of their beers on tap with a pretty good range in styles. The service was attentive and friendly.

So I rated the vibe so high because ,my first time I went was on a Wednesday night which is Young Lion's beer and trivia night, which was very fun and entertaining. They had very fun and friendly staff that was very knowledgeable about their brews and they treated you like family, even though it was my first time along with the people I went with. They had 11 house beers on tap including all varieties from porters, bourbon barrel aged stouts, sours and IPA's. I had every house beer on tap and all were fantastic! They had 3 beers that were not theirs, which were nothing special. I believe they had Ithaca Apricot wheat, Empire White Aphro, and some cider. A great ambiance, great beer, and an awesome staff makes this place not only great but, a place I will definitely visit again!
