Deep ruby with a thin tan head. Smells mostly malty, slightly toasty, but fairly mellow altogether. Tastes of rich malt with dark fruity undertones. Hop bitterness is present but very well balanced by the malt. Mouthfeel is smooth, lightly carbonated, and finishes dry. Overall a nice brown ale, even drinkable in hot weather.
