10oz tap pour on nitro at the taproom. Served chilled in a stemmed goblet glass.
Dark brown to black colored body. Dense, light beige colored head, and this settles to a thin cap. Leaves behind a spotted pattern of lacing.
Aroma of roasted oats and toffee.
Taste is sweet and roasty. Flavors of roasted oat malts, toffee, and chocolate. Maintains its sweetness in the aftertaste.
A little more than medium mouthfeel. Smooth and creamy. Bitterness is from the roasted malts. Very good carbonation.
Pleasant enough for style.
