473ml can poured into kitchen pint.
Pours a clear straw yellow with two fingers of snowy white head that leaves some complicated honeycomb lace as it recedes.
Smells of grainy bread dough, unsweetened wheat breakfast cereal, peeled banana, peppery yeast, a little lemon zest and trimmed flowers
Tastes of bready, grainy wheat malt, banana slices, dusted black pepper and clove, lemony freshness and more flowery, leafy hops.
Feels light and lively. Light bodied with fizzy carbonation. Finishes dry.
Verdict: Highly recommended. Thirst quenching and perfect for the growing heat.

On tap at Industry Pub in Medicine Hat.
Cloudy, pale amber straw colour. Slight lacing on the sides.
Hints of sweet bread, peppercorn, along with the expected banana and clove .
Two big banana waves in the initial sip followed by some decent malt backbone. Clove and pepper on finish.
Light to medium feel which was a pleasant surprise given the ABV.
A great take on the style. Would be killer on those 35C summer days here in the Hat

16oz glass in the taproom at the shiny new brewpub just outside of the eastern gates of Jasper Park. An aptly named summer seasonal.
This beer appears a slightly hazy, medium golden yellow colour, with two fingers of puffy, finely foamy, and somewhat creamy bone-white head, which leaves a bit of hanging archipelago lace around the glass as it quickly blows off.
It smells of bready and doughy wheat malt, a lesser biscuity graininess, wet banana chips, earthy yeast, and a mild black pepper essence. The taste is gritty and grainy pale malt, some cereal wheatiness, banana pudding, plain bubblegum, tame phenolic yeast, ethereal mixed peppercorns, and a very faint earthy, leafy, and floral verdant hoppiness.
The carbonation is quite active in its frolicking frothiness, the body a decent middleweight, and generally smooth, with a thin airy creaminess arising as things warm up a tad. It finishes trending dry, the crackery nature of the malt persisting among some lingering banana notes.
Overall, this is a pleasantly rendered version of the style, nice and old school in its approach. Easy to drink while looking out at the sunshine and the looming mountains that inspired this venture.
