A September beer collaboration is a great time to use freshly harvested hops. And Red Deer's Hard Hels Hops was the perfect place to find them. We hope you enjoy drinking this Wet-Hopped Vienna Lager as much as we did brewing it with our friends from Red Hart Brewing.

16 ounce fresh relief - Wet Hop a lager - interesting.
Pours a clear dark coppery amber colour with 2 solid fingers of creamy/tight bubbly tawny coloured head.
Bready malt on the nose, toasty with a faint touch of smokiness, a hint of toffee and an earthy, leafy hop aroma.
Taste is malty sweet - fresh bread, toast - a touch of a toffee like flavour; earthy, mildly floral hops with a subtle bitterness at the back and again that hint of smokiness.
Sweet medium mouthfeel - perhaps a a little flabby, lacking the crisp clean finish I would have desired. Overall very decent and drinkable.
