Copenhagen 14/9 2018. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Bryggervangen, Kbh Ø. Drawing of Monster Claws ripping through a brick Wall trying to grab a hop cone.
Pours hazy orange with very big white head. Settles as 2 cm thick, dense blanket of foam. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is a little dampened by the massive amount of foam. Sweet fruit like peach soon overcome by strong citric notes. Grape fruit, tart gooseberries and tangerine.
Strong carbonation. Slightly thick and very prickly texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by strong, citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and lingers for a while.
Pretty middle of the road IPA. Solid malt base and nice bitterness without going to extremes.
