Copenhagen 13/4 2022. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Rotunden, Hellerup. A very detailed drawing of a half-naked, very muscular Santa Claus surrounded by a ton of golden, intricate ornaments.
Pours unclear, dark brown with a red hue. small off-white head. Bubbly. Settles as thin, flimsy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a heavy sweet and sugary odor with a bit of alcohol scent bleeding through. Dark, alcohol saturated fruit. Plum and apricots. Brown sugar in abundance. Yeasty touch of banana and musty cellar.
Light carbonation, Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a heavy sweetness followed by a moderately bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a boozy streak. Lingers for a while, Finish is sweet and a bit boozy.
Potent Quadrupel with a sweet tooth.
