Copenhagen 17/4 2021. 47,3 cl can from Ølkassen web-shop. Yellow-brown label made out to look like an austere, serious study paper on the bais of insect-studies.
Pours unclear, murky, golden yellow with a small white head. Settles as thin, almost transparent layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with an odor of sweet malts mingling with citric notes. Sweet pale malts, sweet coconut. Sharp citrus and lime. Notes of sharp alcohol.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, smooth, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a bitter, dry undertone. Lingering. Finish is semi-dry and laced in coconut.
Interesting combination of English Strong Ale, donut and some citric hops.
