Pours with a dark brown body that's topped by a durable light tan head.
Very smooth, creamy feel with soft, medium carbonation.
Moderate strength and bitterness for style. The aftertaste is a weak point.

Dark red brown with a persistant creamy head that leaves nice lacing. Smell is prototypical nut brown ale, with caramel and a hint of hops. The flavor is creamy toffee, hazlenuts, with a bitter finish and a vanilla bean aftertaste. The mouthfeel is creamy. It was very, very carbonated at first but settles down nicely once you let it sit. The drinkability is fine, although it is a bit roasted & nutty to have too many.
