Light copper color, with somewhat weak short-lived head. Smell is appealing, but really just smells like "beer."
Taste is initially a bit weak, with malty sweetness but not much else. This slowly develops as one drinks, with a floral hop bitterness coming forward, and touches of "mineral" and "metallic" tastes. The end impression is of a somewhat subtle but nice taste, more interesting in the end that it is initially.
Body is medium, with a crisp snap to it.
All in all, I liked this beer, and would buy it again. It's not for hopheads, but might appeal to those who like English styles.
