This delicious concoction floats like a butterfly but stings like a bee. It pours out a clean golden yellow reminiscent of waves of barley flowing in the South Dakota breeze. Utilizing generous proportions of locally sourced honey, this beer surprises you by drinking clean and sweet. It’ll leave you with a full but snappy mouthfeel delicately balanced with noble Czech and mildly citrus American hops.

12 ounce can, canned on 9/19/24 stamped on the bottom of the can. Big thanks to Brutaltruth for this one, pretty sure it's the first beer from South Dakota I've tried! Served in a dimpled mug, the beer pours a not quite clear not quite hazy gold color with not quite an inch off-white head. Head retention and lacing are both good enough. Aroma is sweet, the brew smells mostly like honey, along with some grainy malt and earthy hops. I think the taste is similar to the aroma, the honey stands out but there's also grainy malt, vanilla, citrusy and earthy hop flavors too. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's a bit coating and creamy with a moderate amount of carbonation. Thought this one was tasty, definitely worth trying if you're able to!

From the 12 oz can in a snifter via The Little Lady's daughter and her beau----Cheers Jeanette and Jamie!
This solid cream ale pours a chill hazed pale golden with a moderate head of white foam that
settles to a thin ring, subtle dusty layer, and sports some light lacing. Nose of rich honey and subtle
grain notes with light herbal hops. Flavors surpass the nose with a fantastic presentation of rich
honey, light grains, herbal hops, and sweet cream. Mouth feel is medium light, medium
light carbonation, smooth, and finishing moderately clean and subtly sweet.
Overall, a stellar finely balanced cream ale in the imperial sense!
Cheers

Poured a chilled 12-oz can into a glass. It has a beautiful golden color and a light head. Sweet and rich on the tongue, while not being too heavy. This was a unique beer and one that I'll look for again!

Clear, golden color. Medium-sized , white head. Grain, vanilla and honey in the aroma. Malty taste with decent balancing bitterness at the end. Easy to drink.

Queen Bee pours a darker, golden color with a small, long-lasting, lacing head. The aroma is fresh honey notes. The flavor is warm, boozy, lots of honey. GOod feel. Overall, it is sweet but full of honey, with a warm finish.

12oz can. Poured out a clear, golden orange color with a small, off-white head of foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of honey, caramel, toffee and floral notes. Sweet honey taste with a mild bitterness and citrus.

12oz can into a 12oz Willie Becher.
L: Pours bright, clear, honey gold w large, steady & fast carbo bubbles, a thin eggshell white head w no retention, scant skeletal lacing.
S: Sweet malts, cereal grains, light fruit, a hint of banana, background citrus zest, melon, honey that goes wide with warming, a hint of alcohol w warming.
T: Bright caramel malts, honey, grains, ripe citrus zest, melon rind, honey again. Gently rich and quite clean.
F: Slightly fizzy & lively then slightly smooth, light bodied, clean & crisp w a med-long moderately drying finish.
O: On the low end of creamy, a moderately sweet, crisp, light & fairly smooth finishing brew. EZ drinking with its light body. It sort of reminds me of a good base beer for something else. It is good in its style.

First beer that I ever had from Remedy as South Dakota was the last state that I needed to review something from, on here. Saw this at Walmart in Pierre when I passed through it a few months back. Love my Cream Ales and this one was worthy of the style as it was quite full in body and just a bit sticky from the honey and barley, although I wish that this had a bit more of the former in it!
Of course, this poured golden with a bit of haze and fine, dark sediment in it. Plenty of full head topped this off as it evenly settled, although there wasn't any lacing to be seen once I started to sip it. Some honey, bread, sweetness, and corn were in the nose although it was quite muted. Thankfully, the taste was on par with my expectations for this as the bread and honey were up front followed by some ice cream in the back with plenty of cream to tie everything in together. Balanced, nicely carbonated, and oh-so-easy to drink, this went down quickly as there were hints of orange in the back that almost made this feel like something I'd start or finish the day with!
Not a lot of hops or bitterness to this as indeed, this was clean and sweet just like it's description. No way that this felt like 6.9% ABV as only a hint of warming took over at the end of my time with this, as it would have been easy to easily finish off another can or two in one sitting. This had "30-220187-67" written on the bottom of it as it seemed to have been brewed on the 187th day of last year, but who knows? Regardless, this held up as well as Beyonce would have nothing on this Queen Bee...

Gold, lots of tiny particles, small rim of foam that sticks around. Looks good. Smell is honey nut cheerios, a little booze, a hit of grassy hops... good, but a mild scent. Really sweet tasting, malt with booze and a bit of hops. Worth a try

From a 12oz can:
Appearance: Gold, lots of particles, small head that fades out.
Smell: Lots of creamed corn.
Taste: Mild sweetness, then mild corn and a bit of fruitiness. Some alcohol shows up. Mostly neutral finish.
Overall: A bit of an older can, maybe that's why I don't get as much of the honey notes that others have observed. It's fine, I could see a light beer drinker stepping up and enjoying this one.

Pours a crystal clear straw yellow with a short lived white cap. Some spotty lacing. Aroma is malt, corn, bread and honey. Flavor follows the nose, a bit sweet. Feel is on the lighter side of medium bodied with good carbonation. Overall a nice cream ale. I noticed my can claims a bit higher abv at 7.3%.
