Sound the trumpets, Raise the drawbridge, and drop the Oldsmobile.
This beer packs the same punch as a boomstick to the face of the undead. It's tartness cuts through your tastebuds as if you had a chainsaw for a hand. In this age of darkness, at this time of evil...When the world needs a beer, what you get is this.

Poured into a Nonic.
Pours dark cola but discernably clear. Very limited head. No lacing. Not unexpected.
Roasted malts on the nose. Coffee. Faint chocolate. Grainy.
Toasted/Roasted malts on the tip of the tongue impart some deceptively solid sweetness. A hint of turbinado or even molasses. In midstream, cherry, cherry cola, and apple cider notes transition the sweetness into sour territory. The end of the brew is where the classic sour flavors arrive. Sour apple, lemon, and just shy of malic tartness. It never skews over into wild ale or kettle sour territory on the balance. The cherry syrup sweetness keeps it in Berliner Weiss territory.
Medium-ish. A pretty short, crisp, and drying finish. The acidity is pretty solid but not ridiculous.
It isn't much to look at. But everything else is excellent. It's a Berliner in the end, but very unconventional. The off-beat roasted malts provide an excellent counterpoint to the classic Berliner acidity. I hope this brew becomes a regular in the Remedy rotation. Just in case, I'm going to get some more...
